Workcred, an affiliate of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) focused on advancing quality workforce credentials, is pleased to announce that Elizabeth (Liz) Mendez has joined the Workcred board of directors for a three-year term, effective immediately.
Liz Mendez has been a leader in talent acquisition for the last 15 years at Kaiser Permanente. She joined the organization in 2007 and currently serves as a principal consultant, talent strategy leader, where she is accountable for the strategy and consultation within the clinical business line. Previously, she was Kaiser Permanente’s talent acquisition manager supporting the patient care services line.
In addition to her work at Kaiser Permanente, Liz Mendez has served as professor of a “Diversity in the Workplace” class for Union Institute and University. She holds an MBA in human resources from Chapman University and a bachelor’s degree in liberal studies from Concordia University.
