Register Now for the U.S.-Philippines Cold Chain Standards and Innovation Workshop

Registration is now open for the U.S.-Philippines Cold Chain Standards and Innovation Workshop, being hosted by the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) with support from the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) under the U.S.–Indo-Pacific Standards & Technology Cooperation Program (STCP).

Scheduled for October 18-19, 8:30 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. EDT (October 19-20, 8:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. PHT), this two-day virtual workshop will facilitate valuable discussions among key Filipino and U.S. stakeholders regarding the benefits of international standards to support the development of sustainable and modern cold chain logistics and storage facilities in the Philippines, as well as innovation and best practices empowered by new technologies in the sector.

The key topics to be discussed during the workshop include:

  • Current state of standards and regulations in the Philippines and global trends
  • The Philippines’ Cold Chain Industry Roadmap (2020-2025) and strategies for relevant developments
  • Standards for energy-efficient and modern cold storage and transportation facilities
  • New technologies and innovations in the cold chain logistics sector

Participation in this workshop will be offered to a limited audience from the relevant U.S. and Filipino stakeholders. To request attendance, please complete the Request for Registration Form no later than October 11, 2022.
