ANSI Releases Fourth Quarter of ANSI in China Newsletter

The American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) international policy department released the 2022 fourth quarter edition of its ANSI in China Newsletter, available in English and Chinese.

The quarterly newsletter updates ANSI members on technical activities, policy decisions, trade matters, and other information of interest. The English version of the newsletter is available exclusively to ANSI members and the Chinese version is available online for all interested stakeholders.

Headlines from the English version of the fourth quarter 2022 edition include:

• Special Edition: Standards Metrology Implementation Plan for “Dual Carbon”
• Standards in “1+N” Dual Carbon Policy System
• Administration of Data Security in Industry and Information Technology
• First Regulation for China’s Personal Information Protection and Certification
• CCC to Accept Evaluation Result of IEC Conformity Assessment System

The ANSI in China Newsletter in English contains content for a U.S.-based audience. The debut edition of the English version, first published in 2015, is publicly available, while all subsequent editions are available to ANSI members only. The Chinese edition has content intended for a China-based audience, including ANSI members and partner organizations. Past issues are available on www.StandardsPortal.org.

Editorial contributions for upcoming ANSI in China Newsletter editions are accepted for review and possible publication, subject to revision by the editors.
