Save the Date: EU-U.S. Trade and Technology Council Panel Event

5/05/2023

Online and In-person Event on May 30-31

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) encourages relevant stakeholders to attend an EU-U.S. Trade and Technology Council (TTC) event to discuss its key priority areas and the way forward for its work. The TTC will hold the stakeholder event at its fourth TTC Ministerial Meeting, which will take place on May 30-31, in Luleå, Sweden.

The online and in-person event will bring together European Commission executive vice presidents Margrethe Vestager and Valdis Dombrovskis and Commissioner Thierry Breton, as well as U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, U.S. Secretary of Commerce Gina Raimondo, and U.S. Trade Representative Ambassador Katherine Tai. Key stakeholders will represent industry, academia, and civil society.

The EU-U.S. Trade and Technology Council serves as a forum for the United States and the European Union to coordinate approaches to key global trade, economic, and technology issues. It was established during the EU-U.S. Summit in June 2021 in Brussels.

Access additional details and register by May 15 via the European Commission website.
