The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) will co-host the 2023 Korea-U.S. Standards Forum on Wednesday, August 9 (ET) / Thursday, August 10 (KST). This annual forum establishes a valuable platform for leaders and subject matter experts from government, academia, and industries from both countries to enhance mutual understanding, exchange expertise and best practices, and develop future cooperation.
This year the forum will be hybrid; in-person attendance will be in Seoul, Korea, with high-level government officials and executives from leading Korean companies expected to attend. It is a great opportunity for ANSI members to highlight relevant standards, expertise, products, services, and best practices, as well as to engage with Korean counterparts.
ANSI encourages technical experts from its membership to join the event in person and share insights on standards development, technology trends, and market demands, while exploring opportunities for collaboration between the U.S. and South Korea. This year’s forum will feature technical presentations and discussions on the following strategic areas:
Members interested in joining the ANSI delegation and speaking at the event should contact Laiyin Yuan ([email protected]) or Joseph Conrad ([email protected]) for more details before June 30, 2023. Registration for attendees will open in July.
