In just one month, the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) will co-host the hybrid 2023 Korea-U.S. Standards Forum on Wednesday, August 9 (EST) / Thursday, August 10 (KST), with in-person attendance at the Grand InterContinental Seoul. This annual forum establishes a valuable platform for leaders and subject-matter experts from industries, government, and academia from both countries to enhance mutual understanding, exchange expertise and best practices, and develop future cooperation.
This year’s forum will bring together a wide range of U.S. and Korean experts and officials, including:
The keynote, to be delivered by a speaker from the National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST), will address the importance of collaboration on critical sectors now and into the future. Attendees will also hear technical presentations and breakout sessions on strategic areas including semiconductors; artificial intelligence; green energy and carbon neutrality; quantum technology; and autonomous vehicles.
In-person attendance at the forum in Seoul, Korea, offers U.S. participants access to valuable networking opportunities and engagement with U.S. and Korean thought leaders from both the public and private sectors. The forum will take place in hybrid format, with participants able to join virtually. U.S. participants who attend in person are also invited to a welcome dinner the night before the forum for more informal networking opportunities with Korean panelists and other participants.
