So far, we’ve seen how the transformative technology can revolutionize everything from streamlining processes and workflows to generating entertainment and creative media. But how can we better understand AI’s full potential and its associated challenges and risks? And what standards and regulations are needed?

Join leading technology, standardization, and industry and government experts during ANSI’s World Standards Week 2023 on October 10 for thought-provoking discussions on the important role of standards and regulations in supporting generative AI—and its responsible use.

The agenda, open to all, is packed with intriguing sessions with an opportunity for audience engagement following each segment, including:

• The AI 101 – Understanding Generative AI and Large Language Models: Join the discussion and ask what’s on your mind during the audience Q&A.
• Exploring the Power of Generative AI: Expert Perspectives will feature experts from industry, government, and academia who will share insights and illuminate key aspects of generative AI through TEDx-style presentations.
• Generating the Future: Impact Across Sectors (Panel 1) will examine how generative AI is already making waves across various sectors; what benefits and challenges have been encountered; and where standards might be needed. Also, see what it all means for your sector, organization, or line of work.
• Trustworthy and Responsible AI (Panel 2): While generative AI holds tremendous promise, what guardrails are needed to assure trustworthy and responsible AI?

Register for the session. There is no fee to attend, but advance registration is required. Join in person at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center, or virtually via Zoom. Open to all; breakfast and lunch will be provided.
