The fourth United States-Mexico-Canada Agreement (USMCA) Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Dialogue will convene on Wednesday, November 19. The American National Standard Institute (ANSI) encourages small business stakeholders to attend this event, which highlights regional trade and investment opportunities and challenges under the USMCA.
About the SME Dialogue
The USMCA SME Dialogue provides a forum for small- and medium-sized businesses and other stakeholders from the United States, Canada, and Mexico—including those representing underserved communities—to engage in critical discussions with senior government officials. The dialogue aims to strengthen regional trade and investment with USMCA, enhance cooperation on issues of mutual interest to SMEs, and help more small businesses benefit from the agreement.
The SME Dialogue is convened by the Office of the United States Trade Representative with the U.S. Department of Commerce, the U.S. Small Business Administration, Global Affairs Canada, and Mexico’s Secretariat of the Economy, and will be hosted this year by the U.S. Export Assistance Center Arizona and the Arizona District Export Council (AZDEC).
Topics of discussion at the November meeting will include:
On Tuesday, November 18, AZDEC will offer optional matchmaking for small businesses from the United States, Canada, and Mexico attending the SME Dialogue in Phoenix.
Registration is free of charge on a space available basis. Interested U.S. SME stakeholders can RSVP to [email protected], with their name, title, organization, and city/state.
