HL7 International has announced that it will host a free webinar on its FHIR (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources) specification.

“Analytics on FHIR: Real-world lessons from applying FHIR to clinical and administrative data” will offer listeners information on FHIR-based analytics, with examples of open-source FHIR capabilities being used to provide near-real-time insights for population health, care management, and hospital administration. Attendees will learn how to apply FHIR analytics toward diverse clinical and administrative use cases; best practices for maximizing FHIR-based analytics, including obstacles to avoid; and the specific capabilities of IBM’s open-source FHIR server.
