ASTM International and the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society (HFES) have signed a letter of cooperation supporting exoskeleton standards development.
Through the agreement, the organizations will collaborate to encourage technical excellence in exoskeletons and their enabling technologies with the use of standards. The organizations also seek to enhance technical knowledge and facilitate input from HFES in the standards development process to reflect human-centric solutions.
