ASME has released a new episode of its ASME TechCast Podcast. “The AI Evolution of Generative Computer-Aided Design” offers a look into how artificial intelligence and automation can be introduced to the use of generative design.
Generative computer-aided design uses CAD software to meet strength and load criteria in the most efficient design possible, taking into consideration the material and constraint design points designated by engineers. With the use of AI and automation, engineers are evolving the tool into cognitive automated design.
