SoundExchange will host a four-part series of webinars in partnership with the Music Business Association on the evolving impact of technology on the music industry.
The virtual events will cover issues facing the music tech industry, including the future of live events and the metaverse, simplifying the music business, metadata management, and monetizing music in emerging streaming platforms.
The first webinar in the series will be “The Future of Live Events,” scheduled for Wednesday, February 16, from 2-3 p.m. ET. The virtual event will feature conversations between SoundExchange president and CEO Michael Huppe, Music Business Association president Portia Sabin, and Roblox global head of music Jon Vlassopulos.
