ASME International has released a new video showing how high-tech materials and precision engineering come into play at the 2022 Winter Olympics.
The brief video relays the engineering concepts needed to design equipment for athletes’ peak performance in bobsleigh, half pipe, speed skating, and ski jumping. Beyond supporting athletic achievements, engineering is also used to assure that materials are designed to exact specifications for the athletes’ safety.
