UL Solutions Announces Webinar on Medical Device Packaging to Preserve Sterility

UL Solutions will host a webinar this month on how effective packaging can help preserve the sterility of medical devices.

“Safer and Compliant: Medical Packaging Testing Solutions” will offer insights into the regulatory requirements for sterilized medical devices and packaging transportation. The presentation will cover:

  • Regulatory requirements for terminally sterilized medical devices according to ISO 11607-1
  • Packaging transportation requirements according to ASTM D4169 and ISTA protocols
  • Best practices, with practical examples from manufacturers that have implemented medical packaging strategies
