The American Water Works Association (AWWA) will host a webinar that will underscore how PVC pipe can help municipalities meet their green infrastructure goals.

The course will provide an overview of what a Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) is, how they are completed, and what differentiates a reliable LCA from an attempt at marketing. Attendees will find out about the key outcomes of a LCA that point to the sustainability benefits of PVC pipe. The session will also cover the PVC pipes from a toxicological perspective and the correlation to safe and clean drinking water to communities.

Experts will include Ronald W. Brecher, PhD, DABT, C.Chem., toxicology, risk assessment, risk communication specialist, and Tad Radzinski, PE, SEP, LEED AP, SFP, president and co-founder, Sustainable Solutions Corporation.
