The latest episode of the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) podcast focuses on the sustainability benefits of lithium-ion battery and photovoltaic panel technologies, which also present challenges for fire protection engineers.
The podcast examines some inherent frictions that exist between sustainability and fire protection efforts, and whether the industry can find the right balance to effectively achieve both. NFPA engineer Shawn Mahoney will also provide an overview of how NFPA codes and standards are developed and revised, and how the public can get involved.
