A new report from ASTM International showcases the impactful role that standards play in supporting innovation and sustainability efforts across five evolving industry sectors.
“The Standardization Impact Report” was developed in response to the need for a strategic overview of global innovation trends and the role that standards can and do play in supporting them. It highlights existing work undertaken by several key ASTM committees.
“This Standardization Impact Report showcases direct links between the impactful work of ASTM’s 149 committees and emerging technologies within these key industry sectors,” said Brian Meincke, ASTM’s vice president of global business development. “It leverages a broad review of publicly available information and provides a snapshot that roadmaps our standards development trajectory to these key topic areas to better inform strategic decisions and resources.”
