A new episode of the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) podcast, CES Tech Talk, explores accessibility in computer gaming—from adaptive hardware to inclusive game design.
As gaming continues to gain popularity, the industry is evolving to assure that everyone can participate. U.S. consumers are projected to spend $50 billion on video game services and software in 2024, representing a 3% increase from last year. Given these increases, CTA notes that “gaming is more than just entertainment; it serves as a platform for shared experiences and emotional connections, shaping their worldview and creating a culture that extends beyond the game itself.”
