The Interstate Renewable Energy Council (IREC) will host a webinar to share findings from its recently published National Solar Jobs Census report, which details solar industry job growth and provides a reference for the state of the workforce.

IREC reports that for the first time, this year’s report included a qualitative study based on anonymous interviews with solar industry representatives. Responses provide new insights into some of the challenges and strategies related to workforce development and diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA).

IREC’s Avery Palmer, workforce communications director, and Mallory Stewart Robison, director of research and analysis, will present the findings. The discussion will be open to cover the report’s findings and a path forward.
