The Energy Systems Integration Group (ESIG) will host a free webinar on how inverters with grid-forming capabilities can be deployed to maintain system stability when operating with a very high share of inverter-based generation.
“G-PST/ESIG Webinar: Requirements and Verification Procedures for Grid-Forming Units – The German Approach to Ensuring Power System Stability” will explore Germany’s evolving approach to integrating grid-forming technologies and maintaining system stability during the energy transition.
Attendees will hear from Dr.-Ing. Kaveh Malekian Boroujeni, professor for decentralized energy systems and electrical networks at the Brandenburg University of Technology Cottbus–Senftenberg. Questions may be submitted ahead of time via Slido.
The webinar will be held on Monday, August 4, from 4:00-5:00pm ET. Registration is free. Visit ESIG’s website to learn more and register.
