The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) will co-host the 2025 Korea-U.S. Standards Forum on Thursday, December 4, 9:30 am – 4 pm (KST) | Wednesday, December 3, 7:30 pm to December 4th 2 am (EST), with virtual participation and in-person attendance at the Shilla Seoul hotel in Seoul, Korea.
The annual forum establishes a valuable platform for leaders and subject-matter experts from industries, government, and academia from both countries to enhance mutual understanding, exchange expertise and best practices, and develop future cooperation.
This year’s forum will bring together a wide range of experts, including acclaimed professors from across top universities and research institutes in Korea; movers and shakers from the U.S. public and private sectors; and leading standards developers who are active in international standards-setting organizations. Led by Dr. Laurie E. Locascio, president and CEO of ANSI, the U.S. delegation will engage in extensive interactions with their Korean counterparts, supported by local participation led by Mr. Daeja Kim, administrator of KATS, and Mr. Dongmin Moon, chairman and CEO of the Korean Standards Association (KSA).
Registration is now open on the forum website. ANSI invites all interested stakeholders to register and participate in this significant program.
