Update & Event Overview

In direct response to ANSI members’ responses to a recent WSW survey revealing continued uncertainties about organizational travel budgets and personal health and safety, ANSI has decided to take a unique approach to World Standards Week 2021, splitting the events across fall 2021 and spring 2022 to ensure safe and engaging events amid COVID-19:

  • The World Standards Week 2021 events listed in the schedule below will be held virtually on October 25-29, 2021. When possible they will include greater use of video, virtual networking rooms, and more two-way dialogue between presenters and attendees to foster engagement.

Registration, virtual meeting links, sponsorship information, and additional details will be published here as they are available.

World Standards Week 2022

Looking ahead, World Standards Week 2022 will take place in-person in Washington, DC, in fall 2022. Events will include an awards ceremony honoring a new set of awardees, a second U.S. Celebration of World Standards Day, and many more events making up a full World Standards Week celebration.

ANSI’s World Standards Week is a premier annual gathering that brings together ANSI members and private- and public-sector stakeholders from across the standards and conformity assessment communities. As the world begins to emerge from the pandemic, ANSI looks forward to the days ahead when we can safely bring the community together for in-person events.
