ANSI Announces Call for Nominations for Policy and Other Committees

7/02/2012
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) invites all members of the ANSI Federation to recommend qualified candidates for membership on the Institute's policy and other committees. The three-year terms begin January 1, 2013, and conclude December 31, 2015.

Policy committees seeking new members (voting and non-voting) include:

Several program oversight committees also have nominations processes to facilitate the identification of candidates from ANSI members. These are included in this call for nominations as well; more details are available on the nomination form.

To nominate a candidate, submit the nomination form by Tuesday, July 31, 2012.

Candidates being nominated for voting positions must also include a letter of corporate support and a biographical statement setting forth the candidate's relevant qualifications. (Please note: Nominations of ANSI individual members, government members, and corporate officers do not require a letter of corporate support.)

Voting membership in the Institute Policy Committees is limited to approximately thirty-six persons appointed by the Chairman of the Board and approved by the Executive Committee of the Board from among eligible nominated candidates.

A single nomination form per ANSI member is requested. Nomination forms and other materials should be submitted to:
