Happening This Week: Join the 2025 Korea-U.S. Standards Forum in Seoul

The 5th Korea-U.S. Standards Forum is happening this week! Co-hosted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS), this annual bilateral event will gather industry leaders and standards experts on December 4, 9:30 am – 4 pm (KST) | December 3, 7:30 pm to December 4, 2 am (EST), with virtual participation and in-person attendance at the Shilla Seoul hotel in Seoul, Korea.

There’s still time to register.

In this year’s forum, leading experts from the United States and Korea will deliver fresh insights across strategic areas and critical emerging technologies such as AI, semiconductor, quantum, biotechnology, and future mobility, including:

  • Industry perspective on the forthcoming United States Standards Strategy 2025
  • Standardization trends for AI safety and trustworthiness, testing, and evaluation
  • NIST’s AI standards “Zero Drafts” pilot project
  • High temperature annealing-based semiconductor manufacturing
  • Standards for the microelectronics industry
  • Latest development of quantum technology and the business impact of standards
  • Medical device standards education initiative
  • Translating science into standards: organoid manufacturing and quality control
