ANSI and SES Sign Memorandum of Understanding for Standards Workforce Development, Education, and Community Engagement

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Society for Standardization Professionals (SES), establishing a framework for collaboration on workforce development, education, and community engagement.

Under the MoU, the organizations will collaborate to identify specific joint activities, assess progress, and explore new partnership opportunities.

The organizations may collaborate in areas including:

• Standards workforce development — developing training programs, supporting credentialing initiatives, and creating pathways for students and new professionals
• Standards education — raising awareness of standardization, developing educational content, and co-sponsoring learning events
• Community engagement — convening events and fostering networking among standards professionals; engaging stakeholders in standards-related activities and discussions
• Cross-promotion — promoting programs and events through respective communications channels and publications

The MoU reflects ANSI and SES’ shared commitment to strengthening the impact and reach of the standards community.
