Forum Held in Conjunction with ANSI Conference on U.S. Leadership in Global Standardization

ANSI’s Company Member Forum (CMF) meets on March 24 in Scottsdale, Arizona, immediately before ANSI’s in-person conference, Global Standardization: Enhancing U.S. Industry Leadership and Engagement.

REGISTER FOR CMF.

The CMF provides a venue for company members to exchange views on priority issues, share best practices, and discuss opportunities to strengthen engagement in national, regional, and international standardization.

What to Expect

The draft agenda features interactive discussions, live polling, and Q&A on:

  • Engagement, exploring how companies currently engage in standards work, what gets in the way, and what practices work best. Facilitator: Steven Walls, manager of external standards and standards production for The Boeing Company.
  • Strategic collaboration, walking through real-world problems (such as interoperability or resource constraints) to examine how companies collaborate internally, and with other companies, standards developing organizations (SDOs), and government. Facilitator: Muhammad Ali, senior standards strategy and policy leader for HP, Inc.
  • Practical tools and resources, reviewing existing ANSI and company tools that support standards participation or education. Participants will identify gaps and needs, building a short list of desired high-value tools or resources that the CMF should champion. Facilitator: CMF chair Peter Pondillo, senior manager, standards and policy for Corning Incorporated.

Who can attend

The CMF meeting is open to representatives of ANSI’s company members, as well as attendees of ANSI’s in-person conference, Global Standardization: Enhancing U.S. Industry Leadership and Engagement.
