According to the proposal, the new field of technical activity would focus on standardization work associated with feed machinery, include single feed machines, processing systems, and production lines involved in the processing of livestock, poultry, and other types of animal feed. The field of activity will cover only mechanical equipment used for the industrial production of feed and does not apply to machinery associated with irrigation, cultivation, animal husbandry, and other agricultural activities.
All comments on this proposal should be sent to Steven Cornish, ANSI senior director for international policy ([email protected]). Feedback received by the May 30 deadline will be reviewed and compiled for the recommended ANSI position and comment, which will then be presented to the ANSI ISO Council for formal approval.
