The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) invites all members of the ANSI Federation to recommend qualified candidates for membership on the Institute's policy and other committees. The three-year terms begin January 1, 2018, and conclude December 31, 2020. Committees seeking new members (voting and non-voting) include:
ANSI ISO Council (AIC)
ANSI ISO Forum (AIF)
Committee on Education (COE)
Voting membership in the Institute's policy committees is limited to approximately 36 persons appointed by the Chairman of the Board and approved by the Executive Committee of the Board from among eligible nominated candidates. Several program oversight committees also have nomination processes to facilitate the identification of candidates from ANSI members. These are included in this call for nominations as well; more details are available on the nomination form.
Candidates being nominated for voting positions must also include a letter of corporate support and a biographical statement setting forth the candidate's relevant qualifications; however, nominations of ANSI individual members, government members, and corporate officers do not require a letter of corporate support.
To nominate a candidate, submit the nomination information and submit the nomination reply form by Monday, July 10, 2017; prospective candidates may also nominate themselves. A single nomination form per ANSI member is requested. Nomination forms and other materials should be submitted to:
