The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) National Accreditation Board ANSI/ANAB will host a training workshop focused on product certification on September 26-27, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The course, titled, Understanding the Requirements and Concepts of ISO/IEC 17065, Conformity assessment -- Requirements for bodies certifying products, processes and services, will be held at ANSI's Washington, DC, headquarters with nationally recognized experts .
This two-day ANSI/ANAB workshop is designed to present the conformity assessment concepts for the certification of products, process and services as defined in ISO/IEC 17065. Discussions will examine the standard's requirements, its benefits, and why it has become the international benchmark for product certification.
The course contents provide the certification body, scheme owners and others interested in certification of products, processes and services with the understanding of the requirements presented in ISO/IEC 17065 through practical examples and class exercises.
Representatives of corporations, organizations, scheme owners, government agencies, and others who operate product/process/services certification programs or who wish to learn more about the ANSI accreditation process are invited to enroll.
