Join us in Denver this July for the sixth U.S.-Korea Standards Forum! Co-hosted by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS), this annual bilateral event brings together industry leaders and standards experts from both countries to exchange expertise and develop future cooperation, especially in critical and emerging technologies.
The 2026 Forum will take place on July 31 (10 a.m. – 5 p.m. MDT, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. EDT) | August 1 (1 – 8 a.m. KST), with in-person attendance at the Grand Hyatt Denver and streamed online. The event is co-located with the 2026 ANSI Innovation Summit.

This year’s forum features keynote and panel discussions focusing on standards for artificial intelligence (AI), quantum technology, future mobility, and biotechnology. It will emphasize strategic alignment on national and industry strategies for technology and standards development, leverage public-private partnerships, identify common technical standardization priorities through ongoing international standard-setting activities, and explore solutions to avoid market fragmentation while addressing current gaps and challenges between the two countries.
