The ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) invites the conformity assessment community to submit presentation proposals for the 2027 ANAB Conformity Assessment Symposium (ACAS), to be held January 19-20, 2027, in the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, MD.
The submission window closes Friday, August 28, 2026.
Now in its second year, ACAS brings together leaders from across the conformity assessment ecosystem for two days of dialogue, learning, and collaboration on the trends and challenges shaping accreditation and global trust. Building on a successful debut, the 2027 event will again feature community-driven general sessions, discipline-specific technical tracks, keynote perspectives, and dedicated professional development training.
A Theme Reflecting a Maturing Field
This year's theme, Changing Conformity Assessment Solutions, reflects where the field stands today. As the ISO/IEC standards underpinning conformity assessment and accreditation bodies reach maturity, revisions have become less frequent and more modest in scope. That stability is freeing conformity assessment to adapt more readily to new challenges, and ANAB is looking to the community to share how.
Presentations are sought on how standards, schemes, scheme owners, and conformity assessment services and bodies are responding to changes in markets, technologies, regulations, and trade.
Topics of Interest
Presentations on any relevant topic are welcome; ANAB has highlighted particular interest in:
Proposals will be evaluated on how well they exemplify the Changing Conformity Assessment Solutions theme. Purely promotional or sales-oriented presentations will not be selected. ANAB will review all submissions and place selected proposals into either the general sessions or the day-two breakout sessions at its discretion.
How to Submit
Abstracts must be submitted as a PDF or Word document, no more than two pages, no later than Friday, August 28, 2026. See additional submission information and submit proposal here.
