Day One: Setting the Stage, with a Focus on AI
Day one will open with remarks by Warren Merkel, ANAB’s interim executive director, followed by a government keynote and a signature session from the TIC Council Americas. The afternoon turns to AI, exploring auditing and AI alongside the broader digitalization pressures reshaping certification, inspection, and conformity assessment. Speakers will represent the Independent International Organisation for Assurance, SES Global Services, UL Solutions, and the National Board for Workforce Certification & Verification (NBWCV). The day ends with roundtables and an evening reception with exhibitors.
Day Two: Where is Conformity Assessment Headed?
ANSI president and CEO Laurie E. Locascio, Ph.D., NAE, will open day two with ANSI’s view of where conformity assessment is headed. A keynote from Amazon will show how a global household name relies on conformity assessment as needs continue to change, and Global ACI will share an update on its growing role in globalized accreditation.
Professional Development and Discipline-specific Tracks
The professional development training track offers hands-on workshops led by ANAB instructors Deanne Emory, Randy Long, and Sara Walker. The workshops cover risk-based thinking, cause analysis and corrective action, audit trailing and tracing, and using management review data to drive continuous improvement.
Running concurrently, discipline-specific tracks provide a more in-depth look at four areas of interest: Management Systems, Product Certification, and Validation/Verification; Forensics; Credentialing; and Inspection, Laboratories, and related activities.
