From historical residential locks to a custom (handcrafter) lock designed for Elvis Presley’s dressing room, explore the Builders Hardware Manufacturers Association’s (BHMA) virtual hardware gallery—commemorating a century of breakthroughs and milestones in the builders’ hardware industry.
In honor of BHMA’s centennial this year, the virtual gallery includes curated artifacts, product innovations, catalogs, historical documents, and photographs submitted by BHMA members. Each “piece” tells the story of how hardware has shaped the built environment over time, honoring stories of strength, safety, and standards. Artifacts were submitted by Allegion US, ASSA ABLOY Group, and domakaba.
