A recent podcast from the American Bankers Association (ABA) emphasizes how collaboration between government and the private sector is crucial to mitigating national scams.
Host Paul Benda, ABA’s risk, fraud, and cyber security expert, interviews Kate Griffin, director of Aspen Institute’s National Task Force on Fraud and Scam Prevention, about recommendations and insights from the new report, United We Stand: A National Strategy to Prevent Scams.
“The very first call to action is simply that we say that scam prevention needs to be identified as a national priority for us as a country,” Griffin said.
Along with expert insights, ABA offers resources to help banks prevent, identify, measure, and report fraud, and to serve and protect consumers and their financial data.
