The American Petroleum Institute (API) has launched a new campaign that spotlights energy workers who demonstrate expertise, safety leadership, and innovation to keep America’s economy strong and communities thriving. The campaign coincides with the Paramount+ hit series Landman, in an effort to shed light on the real-life stories of the people in the nation’s oil and gas industry.

“Landman reflects a broader shift toward energy realism: a clear recognition that America’s future depends on affordable, reliable energy,” API president and CEO Mike Sommers said. “The show highlights how the oil and natural gas industry is woven into every part of American life, supporting jobs, strengthening communities, and driving the economy. We’re proud to share the real stories of hard work, ingenuity, and world-class safety standards that define our industry.”
