The American Water Works Association (AWWA) has published a new white paper: Cooling the Cloud: Water Utilities in a Data-Driven World.
The publication explores how data centers affect water systems—a relationship of critical importance as data centers become increasingly common to support artificial intelligence and digital services. AWWA notes that the report is intended to help water utilities and other stakeholders better understand some of the challenges, opportunities, key decision points, and other considerations involving data centers.
