ASIS International released a new article on the security workforce in its Security Management publication: “To Retain Security Talent, Start with Reframing Its Value.”
The article breaks down the evolution of corporate security, and offers tips to mitigate employee turnover—among them, providing development opportunities, supporting technology proficiency and the use of AI tools, and prioritizing mental health.
The authors note that, “By investing in talent, aligning security with business outcomes, and breaking down silos between physical and cyber domains, organizations can build integrated, resilient programs that stand the test of time.”
