The American Water Works Association (AWWA) will host a webinar to examine how utilities can modernize their aging hydrant infrastructure in a financially sustainable way.
Aging infrastructure and financing required to replace it are the top two issues facing the water sector, according to a 2025 AWWA survey of water professionals.
The webinar will address aging water infrastructure challenges and a cost-effective hydrant renewal solution, focusing on issues including hydrant maintenance and replacement requirements, options for hydrant renewal, and leak and monitoring solutions. Expert guests will include David Johnston and Paul Gifford of Mueller Water Products.
