The Energy Systems Integration Group (ESIG) will host a webinar later this month on the findings of the International Energy Agency Wind Technology Collaboration Programme (IEA Wind TCP) Task 25.
Seventeen countries participated in the initiative, gathering information on wind and solar integration. Findings center on wind and solar impacts on power systems, including long-term planning issues like grid planning and resources adequacy, and short-term operational impacts like reliability, stability, reserves, and maximizing the value of wind in operational timescales.
