This virtual meeting built off the first ANSI-NSP workshop on advanced materials in August 2020, during which the ANSI-NSP suggested that many of the standards and related practices developed for nanomaterials can be applied to many materials considered to be “advanced.” Participants include industry, government representatives, representatives from non-governmental organizations, and academics engaged in this subject area, among others.

The U.S.-Korea Standards Dialogue and Open Forum is an annual conference co-hosted by ANSI and the KATS to share insights on standards development, technology trends, and market demands, while exploring collaboration opportunities in standardization between the two countries.
The virtual meeting brought together stakeholders to launch work toward the creation of a roadmap to coordinate and accelerate standardization enabling AI in healthcare.
