The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) invites members to vote in the election of the 2027–2029 directors-at-large to the ANSI Board of Directors, either by proxy or by electronic ballot during the second 2026 meeting of the ANSI members. The virtual meeting will be held on November 12, 2026, from 2:00 to 2:30 p.m. ET; registration is now open.
Presided over by ANSI president and CEO Dr. Laurie E. Locascio, the meeting will open with remarks on the state of ANSI, including an overview of the Institute’s recent activities, current priorities, and outlook for the year ahead.
Director-at-Large Nominees
The ANSI Board of Directors Nominating Committee has nominated the following 11 individuals to serve three-year terms on the Board, beginning January 1, 2027, and concluding December 31, 2029:
How to Vote
Each voting member is entitled to one vote under Section 2.07 of the ANSI By-Laws. Members may vote in one of two ways:
Submitting a proxy does not prevent a member from attending the meeting. However, a ballot cast at the meeting revokes any proxy that member previously submitted. ANSI encourages all members to return a proxy promptly, even if they plan to attend.
The second annual meeting satisfies the requirement for a meeting of members under New York State Not-for-Profit Corporation Law Section 603. The first 2026 annual meeting of the members was held in a hybrid format on July 30, 2026, during the ANSI Innovation Summit, where members received key financial and membership updates.
Questions about the meeting or voting may be directed to Jake McArdle, ANSI Program Administrator, Legal Affairs, at [email protected].
