ANSI’s March 24 Company Member Forum: Register for In-Person or Virtual Participation

Forum Held in Conjunction with ANSI Conference on U.S. Leadership in Global Standardization

ANSI’s Company Member Forum (CMF) will meet on March 24 in Scottsdale, Arizona, immediately before ANSI’s conference, Global Standardization: Enhancing U.S. Industry Leadership and Engagement. This year’s CMF will be offered in a hybrid format, with virtual participation now available for those unable to travel.

REGISTER FOR CMF (in-person or virtual). ANSI encourages early registration to take part in these timely discussions for both in-person and virtual attendees. Secure hotel accommodations by February 20 if attending in person.

The CMF provides a venue for company members to exchange views on priority issues, share best practices, and identify opportunities to strengthen engagement in national, regional, and international standardization.

What to Expect

The draft agenda features interactive discussions, live polling, and Q&A on:

• Engagement — How companies engage in standards work, barriers to participation, and effective practices. Facilitator: Steven Walls, manager of external standards and standards production, The Boeing Company
• Strategic collaboration — Real-world challenges (e.g., interoperability, resource constraints) and how companies collaborate internally and externally with peers, SDOs, and government. Facilitator: Muhammad Ali, senior standards strategy and policy leader, HP Inc.
• Practical tools and resources — Review of existing ANSI and company tools that support standards participation and education; identifying gaps and high-value resources for CMF action. Facilitator: CMF chair Peter Pondillo, senior manager, standards and policy, Corning Incorporated

Immediately following the CMF, ANSI’s conference, Global Standardization: Enhancing U.S. Industry Leadership and Engagement, will feature insights from leading corporations and industry consortia on emerging challenges, strategic opportunities, and best practices for maintaining leadership in standards and technology.
